  Dear Ositos Parents:

 

          This week was very exciting for all the children as we plan for Friday GRANDPARENTS CELEBRATION. This week the Ositos will be learning “MY BODY” - “MI CUERPO”. They will learn to recognize parts of the body and their functions and how to keep the body healthy. Also, we will begin to work in the notebook practicing strokes.

       SPECIAL ACTIVITY:

We will be close on September 1th in observation of Memorial Day.

We will have a celebration for our grandparents on this Friday September 5th 2014. Please parents invite your parents to come to the school to enjoy with the Ositos this day reading a book, singing, taking pictures, etc.

^{This week we will continue to work with theme “My Spanish for fun! And me” “Mi escuela y yo” were we will be motivating the Ositos to practice the vocabulary words from the last two weeks. Also, we will plan exercises to improve their fine motor skills with strokes, color, play dough, etc. to write  correctly.}

^{SPECIAL ACTIVITY:}

^{I will prepare a collage of general information about ourselves family, food, desire, dreams, likes and dislikes, etc. Other activities the Ositos will pretend to be shapes, singing songs about shapes while visiting other classrooms.}

       I hope everyone have a wonderful week. Last week was amazing! The transition has been smooth because, the Ositos has adapted very well. This week, we will continue learning about “My School and Me”  “Mi Escuela y yo." We will talk more about all the areas of our school.

 During these two weeks, we will focus on the Ositos learning and practicing the rules of the classroom.

  Welcome parents to the Ositos classroom!. We are so excited to begin a new school year. This week we will focus on transitioning your Ositos into their daily activities, classroom rules and “My school and Me”.  Children will get to know their teachers names, classrooms, classmates, centers and materials. We will emphasize in classroom rules and routine and make games that will help to our children in their transition.

SUMMER CAMP WEEK 8

AUGUST 4TH TO 8TH 2014

“EL CIRCO”- “THE CIRCUS”

Dear Ositos Parents:

This week we will be closing our summer camp with an exciting theme: the circus! The teachers will create and perform a circus act for the children. We will also be having our farewell party with music and lots of fun!

Special and Fun Activities:
Monday,  imitate the animals we see in the circus, like elephants, lions, monkeys, etc.
Thursday the Ositos will come dressed as a clown. We will do fun games and circus songs.

Friday,  we will make a great summer closing party. Children should come dressed as a clown and bring some food to share. (Little juices, fruit, cheese, crackers and ham).

We are very proud that this summer camp was recreational and educational for our Osito’s Class!! They had a blast with the splash time and really enjoyed the rest of activities.

Farewell to Chase, Ethan, Kolten, Arianna, Alysa, Meson, Imani,  Jack, Deuce, and Chase Y., who were with me all summer. I hope to see you again next year.
