“Mi Pais”     “My Country”

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. The next two weeks we will learn about our country. We want to explore many things that relate to our country. Our focus will be placed on the following: the significance of our flag, national monuments, landmarks, typical foods, presidents, etc. We want to encourage the students to learn about and to love their country. We will also create many art crafts to display what they are learning.

Special Activity:

This week Osito Willy has packed his suitcase and is prepared to visit with Christian Robinson. Please keep a light on...he likes to wake up late for honey and milk!

Friendly Reminder:

This week we will begin the process of pre-reading the letter "LL ll" with the sound, identification, and writing with vowels to develop their Spanish vocabulary.

Also please assist with writing skills, regarding the letters and numbers of the week with your Osito at home to develop their fine motor skills.

Parents, please be mindful of returning the notebooks each Friday to avoid 2 weeks of homework requested by your Osito.

We are planning for costumes to wear during the international party. More info will be provided as the date gets near

“Las Artes”     “The Arts”

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will enjoy planning for our first annual “Art Fair”.

My goal for this week is to teach the Ositos the different painting techniques and to assist in developing with their fine motor skills. Also, we will learn the primary colors through mixing paint to create new colors. We will also introduce the arts of music, dance, painting, and more. Additionally, we are going to talk about the most famous painters and their works.  We will play with paint, pretending to be one of these amazing painters. Let’s get the fun learning experience of Art!

Dear Ositos Parents :

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will continue learning more about the plants and flowers. My goal for this week is teach the Ositos the benefits of the plants. Also we will discuss some of the benefits from plants we should learn to appreciate on a daily basis.

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will continue learning about the plants and flowers. My goal for this week is teach the Ositos the different functions of flowers. We will also experiment with coloring flowers and enjoy crafts related to Valentine’s Day

"Las Plantas" - "The Plants"

We hope everybody have had a great week. This week we start a new journey, “The plants”. We will learn the different parts of plants, how they grow and experimental plant growth. Our goal for our Ositos is to learn about the plants and understand that they live in a different way than the animals or the human beings.
