Dear Parents,

It’s the time to be jolly and I want to congratulate your children for their wonderful performance at our Holiday Party. Great job!!

For our jolly and short week, we will be talking about Christmas traditions and celebrations in other cultures. The Ositos are very excited about the season of giving.

May your family feel the love, peace, and joy that comes with the spirit of Christmas.  Enjoy the happy cheer!

      This week we will continue the process of  pre-reading the letter “Ll”  with sound     

      identification and writing with vowels to further develop their Spanish vocabulary.

Please assist your child with writing the letters and numbers of the week at home to further develop their fine motor skills. 

Friendly Reminder:

- Please check your child’s cubbies daily for dirty clothes.

- Please also check for notes and that your child has extra clothes.

- When you arrive at the school, please be sure that your child's hands are washed.

Important dates to Remember:

December 24^th and 25^th School is closed due for Holidays.

December 26^th School is closed for Teacher’s Work Day.

Week of December 15^th - 19^th, 2014

Theme of the week: “La Navidad” “Christmas”

Dear Parents,

Christmas is already here, and our children are celebrating too! They have been working hard for the presentation. We will be singing and dancing The song "Navidad Rock". We hope you enjoy our Holiday celebration!

This week, we will be speaking, reading and performing about Christmas theme, we’ll make a Christmas tree, and draws for Santa, and all kind of funny things.

In keeping with our Christmas theme, the class will be discussing Christmas customs like: making a Christmas tree. We'll also be reading and sings songs!  Many fun things this week!

Special Events and Dates to Remember:

Our student of the week is Jillian Steven. Congratulations! We can’t wait to learn more about you Jillian.

You and your loved ones are cordially invited to  Our Holiday Party that will be held at Heritage Baptist Church on Thursday December 18th, 2014.  Spanish for fun! will be closing at 3:00pm.  Please plan to pick up your child between the hours of 2:30pm and 3:00pm as no childcare will be provided after this time. 

We will meet again at the venue at 3:45 to receive your child for the show which will start at 4:00pm.  This show is too wonderful to miss!

Next week we will  learn more about the letter "L l" and its sound. We will identify, and write the letter "L l"  with vowels, paying attention to new words like Lola, Loro, Limon.

Parents please assist your child at home with writing the letters and numbers of the week and be sure to return the homework book on FRIDAY.

2. We are excited about our Holiday Celebration that will be held in the Heritage Baptist Church (next building) @ 4:00pm on Thrusday, Dec 18th. SFF! will close at 3:00 pm, please pick your child up at 3pm and bring him back to the church at 3:45pm.
