“Dia de Accion de Gracias”  - “Thanksgiving Day ”

Dear Ositos Parents,

 This week will be very special. We will learn more about “Thanksgiving” and read many stories on its history. We will be celebrating the holiday while teaching the traditions and culture through theater, dramatic play, singing, story time, and more. We are planning a surprise for the parents this Wednesday.  We will also have dinner, share time together, and be thankful.

Special Activities:

This Wednesday at 10am our Ositos are planning to celebrate Thanksgiving with all of you. Please bring them in uniform - dressed in typical pilgrim outfit.

Friendly Reminder:

Please help to develop your child’s writing skills by practicing letters and numbers of the week with them at home. 

Parents please assist your Ositos homework as this will reinforce classwork assignments and works toward your Ositos continued success.  The homework should be completed.  Thanks to all parents who have helped so far!

“My Community and Me” - “Mi Comunidad y yo ”

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week children will learn more about “MY COMMUNITY AND ME.” We’ll see the places and vehicles used by our community helpers. We’ll pretend to be the bus and ambulance drivers as well as police officers. I know the Ositos will enjoy these activities.

This week we will continue to learn about “My Community and Me” which will include the places that provide assistance in the community, that we will visit through dramatic play and simulation. We are looking forward to their input and what they already know about their own communities.
