Dear Ositos Parents:                                 

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will be learning about the many different and amazing things on the continent of Africa which are recognized around the world.  My goal for the ositos this week is to give them an introduction and experience in African folk cultures, food, music, dance, story time, languages etc. through crafts, play in the centers and observing videos to gain appreciation for the many things of Africa.

• This week we will continue the process of pre-reading the letter "Gl gl” with the sound, identification, writing with vowels to develop their Spanish vocabulary.
• Also please assist with writing skills of letters and numbers of the week with your osito at home to develop their fine motor skills.

       Parents, please be mindful of returning the notebooks each Friday to avoid 2 weeks of homework requested by your osito.

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. This week the Ositos are so excited about our International Party and learning about the continent of  Europe. My goal for the week will be to introduce the Ositos to European culture, including: food, music, language, recognized monuments, etc. We will also to teach the Ositos what objects and ideas are the same and different between US and European cultures today.

Special Activity:

●    Finally our annual “International Party” is this Friday. The Ositos are working very hard on their projects for the event and hoping all the family and friends will come and enjoy!

●    Costume plans for boys are black pants and long sleeve white shirts with black shoes. Parents, if you have extra black pants and white shirts for boys we would like to have them as extras for the international party and future celebrations. Please bring one week prior to the event. Thank You!

●    Costume plans for girls would be white or red sandals. We will have dresses and flowers for the girls.

Friendly Reminder:

Dear Ositos Parents:

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will explore with the Ositos some of the most popular attractions on the continent of Asia. My goal for the week will be to introduce the different cultures, foods, music, languages, recognized monuments, etc., of Asia - through crafts, playing in the centers, and watching videos to gain an appreciation for the many cultures of other countries.

·  We are so excited about our “International Party” planned for 4/24/2015! The Ositos are working very hard and hoping all the family will come and enjoy!

                                        Dear Ositos Parents:                                 

We hope everybody had a great week. This week we will begin learning about people and music from around the world. Our focus this week will be the most famous places and things located in Latin America. We will construct crafts, play games, show videos, sing songs and poems that will help them to become familiar and identify with the different countries in Latin America. Also we will teach them some of the more famous music of Latin America like, Brazil: Zumba, Colombia: Cumbia, Dominican Republic: Merengue, Puerto Rico: Salsa, etc.
