Dear Ositos Parents,

I hope everybody is having a wonderful week. This week we will be learning about the animal kingdom. We have planned lots of fun activities to encourage our ositos respect and care for animals.

Los animales que hay en la selva,

Algunos gordos otros muy altos

El elefante que está muy grande

“Mundo Verde” - “Green World”

Dear Ositos Parents,

This is the final week teaching about the importance of plant life and how to take care of them. We are excited about the upcoming week since we will learn about land cultivation of a small garden. We will explain each step such as land preparation, seeding, maintenance, and growth, etc.

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week we will continue teaching about the importance of trees and how to take care of them.  Our ositos will be learning all benefits of trees as they support life of other organisms as animals. Animals can seek shade and shelter under trees and can also nest in them and they are also able to enjoy delicious fruits.

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week we will continue teaching about plants, products that plants provide and how to care for plants. This week will be an exciting one in which we will keep encouraging our Ositos to appreciate plant life.

“Las Plantas ” “The Plants”.

                                                                                         

Ositos Parents:

This week we will be teaching about the parts of the plant and how they grow and develop. We will also teach them how plants are taken care of while understanding the necessity of plants in our environment.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

1--We are preparing for the “Latin Party”, the ositos are testing their typical merengue for the big party and the costumes were rented for a small cost of $5.00 for girls.

2-- This week we will teach about edible plants. This Thursday we would like for parents to bring edible plants (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, lettuce, celery, spinach, asparagus, etc.) for the ositos to experiment with our edible plant salad.
