Dear Ositos Parents,

This week, we will continue learning about the family and family dynamics around the world through story time and flashcards.  Also the Ositos will learn to distinguish the different rooms in the house through song and observation to increase their vocabulary.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

This Friday we will have our “Costume Party”. I invite all of you to attend. Please bring sufficient candies, snacks, stickers, pencils, etc., to be shared among all the classrooms. (Please note that we are a peanut free facility, no homemade cookies or treats.)

Friendly Reminder:

Please assist with writing skills of letters and numbers of the week with your Osito at home to develop their fine motor skills.

The homework has already started, please pick up on Monday and return back by the following Monday.

Parents please remember to assist your Ositos with their homework, as this will reinforce classwork assignments and works toward your Osito’s continued success.  Thanks to all parents who have helped so far!

This week will be a very important week for the Ositos while we learn the most important things about families. The Ositos will begin focusing on the importance of family values, family cooperation and family support through stories and dramatic play.

Week of 12th  to 9th october 2015

“Nos Ponemos Activos” “Let's get active”

We will have a new theme for this week: “Let's get Active-  Hay que ponernos Activos.” I know that the Ositos will enjoy this theme because they like to compete and they also enjoy exercising. We will also learn how to become active and to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including: plenty of exercise, healthy eating habits, and proper cleaning of the body. We will learn through singing and classroom activities.

“Los Sentimientos” -  “My Feelings ”

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week will be very important for them as they will learn about how to control their reactions. They will also continue to develop their Spanish language skills by communicating their expressions and emotions. Additionally, they will learn through singing and dramatic play.
