“Proyecto de Pascua” “Easter Project”

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. This week the Ositos will be so excited to participate in the Easter egg hunt and waiting for the Easter Rabbit. Through these activities they will enjoy the many games, surprises, singing, and stories telling.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

1- We are preparin for the “Lating Party”. The Ositos are testing their typical merengue for the big party, and the costumes were rented for a small cost of $5.00 for girls.

2- This Friday there will be no class.

3- Congrats! Gabriella will turn 5 years old this week!

“Latinoamerica” “Latin America”

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. This is my favorite theme of the year – I get to teach the Ositos about my native culture! This week we will be speaking about “Latin America” and the many unique and diverse Latin cultures that exists. Using videos and pictures we will introduce various culture aspect and symbols, including:  the flag, music, important places, and natural reserves.

Dear Ositos Parents,

We hope everybody had a great week. We want to explore many things that are related to our country. Our focus will be placed on the significance of our national symbols, including: flag, national monuments, landmarks, typical foods, presidents. We want to encourage the students to learn about and to love their country. We will also create many arts and crafts items to display what they are learning.
