“El Universo y Yo” “The Universe and Me”
Dear Ositos Parents,
We hope everybody had a great week. Our theme for the week is “The
Universe and Me”. We will begin the week discussing what they already think or
know about the universe through their previous knowledge. We will also discuss
the movement of the Earth, discovering day and night, and the time differences
in other parts of the world. The objective is to motivate them to enjoy the
study of science and the marvels of the universe.

Our Ositos have
been working so hard to prepare for their graduation event on June 6, 2015 at
3pm, please remember to invite all family members for this very important
occasion for your Ositos.
Friendly Reminder:
·
This week we
will continue the process of pre-reading the letter "Bl bl” with the
sound, identification, writing with vowels to develop their Spanish vocabulary.
·
Also please
assist with writing skills of letters and numbers of the week with your osito
at home to develop their fine motor skills.
Parents, please be mindful of returning the
notebooks each Friday to avoid two weeks of homework
requested of your Osito.
·
The following Ositos
will need to bring their completed form for sunscreen as soon as possible:
Jillian, Kerlin, Davis and William.
·
We will have a
project about the Universe and Me. We ask for your help by bringing us
different things that support our theme from around your home, for example:
books, stories, magazines, puzzles, pictures, crafts,
drawings, etc. The Ositos appreciate your donations.
