Dear Ositos Parents:
I hope
everyone had a great week. The students had a great time last week, simulating camping. Our theme for this week is “Celebrando el dia de la
Independencia”- “celebrating Independence Day”. This week will have very fun, exciting, and at the same time
educational and cultural.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY:
This
week we will have different activities,
Monday,
we
will prepare headbands or allusive hats and banners,
to represent the patriotic symbols of the U.S.
Tuesday, we will have a picnic. We
will make a shared snack in the park. Please bring something to share with
others. (juice, cookies, fruits, gatorade, etc)
Wednesday,We will have our first crazy hair day. Also, we will have a market fair for Independence Day. Parents please send with your child´s item to sell (pencils, stickers, crayons, etc.). we will pretend game fairs, fairground sell items, face painting and food purchased with fake money. I know they will enjoy the event.
Thursday, we will plan a parade on the occasion of Independence. Hear the anthem of USA. In substitution of fireworks we will (simulate) with recycled material. Children should wear clothing that alludes to the holiday of Independence
