“Mi Cultura y Tradicion”     “My Culture and Tradition”

Dear Ositos Parents:

We hope everybody had a great week. The Ositos will have a wonderful opportunity to learn about their culture and tradition. This week will be exciting because we get to learn through games, using holiday representations. We will enjoy cooking a mini pizza, sing songs referring to the main topic of the week, tell and answer riddles and, learn typical dance rhythms along with different musical arrangements. Parents, please support with the theme of the week at home by speaking more about your experiences in the culture of the USA.

Special Activity:

Osito Willy had a great week with Rowan and his family last week. Now Willy is off with, William and his family to spend the week of fun and games. We hope you enjoy the stay!

This is parent conference week. I would like for you to schedule an appointment with me. Please sign-up at the sheet at the door with your available time and date.

Friendly Reminder:

This week we will continue the process of pre-reading the letter “Gue - Gui" with the sound, identification, and writing with vowels to develop their Spanish vocabulary.

Also, please assist with their writing skills with letters and numbers of the week with your Osito at home to develop their fine motor skills.

Parents, please be mindful of returning the notebooks each Friday to avoid two weeks of homework requested by your Osito.

We are planning to wear costumes during the international party. More information will be provided as the date gets nearer.

Please assist with any articles, magazines, books, pictures you care to share about the US.
