🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Ositos Parents,

We will continue with our theme called “Green Earth”. We will discuss about science. We don’t have to be scientists or be an expert in complicated formulas to teach our children about the significance of science, we just need to show interest in discovering and exploring our surroundings. It is our job to encourage children to be curious and let them ask questions since this will allow them to develop confidence to explore and investigate while they play and have fun.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. This week the activities are oriented to the exploration and investigation with our senses. We will be also learning about the scientific method and its stages as well as everything related to the magnetism. We will also have our science fair all this week and children will show their projects to classmates of other classrooms.

Our travelling Pet “Willy” will be visiting the home of Laura Sofia Becerra this week.

📄 Materials for Special Projects

●      Bring a toy that has a magnet if you have one at home on Tuesday, February 21^st.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

●      Help your Osito practice the vocabulary they have learnt at home.

●      Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.

●      Make sure to bring extra sets of clothing appropriate to weather.

●      Read your child’s journal, blogs and Friday Newsletter. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us in case you have any comment or any question about your child’s development or any notes/comments made in your child’s journal.
